Why did it all come from

We use the BUT information system and related services every day. While we work with some functions regularly, there are some procedures which we need to perform once a year. Moreover, it is almost impossible to know all the options which VUT BUT IS provides us. Our school's centralized portal is gradually being created which will be provide detailed information and instructions how to use the BUT IS and related services. Nevertheless, within the IT department we believe that some manuals are better provided to users in a duplicated way. That is why this platform has been created.

What can you find here

Along with the gradual expansion of the use of the BUT IS at our faculty, manuals for various use cases are being created. While some manuals are intended only for academics or students, others find use across the entire academic community. The aim is not to describe the entire information system, but to make it easier to work with it so that you do not have to waste time unnecessarily and can focus on more important things. Despite our best efforts, there are occasional errors in the instructions. If you have discovered one or if you are missing one, please do not hesitate to contact your system integrator.
